The values of a family respecting the farming lands

For generations, our family has cultivated cereal and legume soils in Central Italy to produce wholegrain, healthy and functional foods with organic certification and of the highest quality. The attachment to the territory and its traditions, the passion for the flavours, the aromas of the foods of the past, and the desire to share all this with those who appreciate good and healthy food are the principles from which we draw strength and inspiration.

The cultivation of spelled wheat of the oldest species is our main activity. It is conducted within the family farm which covers an area of ​​400 hectares around the provinces of Pesaro Urbino and Ancona. At the basis of the family business, taken over and supported by our brothers, Gianluigi and Andrea, is the sharing of principles in support of the environment and man through the adoption of sustainable cultivation methods with low environmental impact.

All this, together with passion, produces whole foods rich in nutritional values ​​donated by nature and mixed by us with wisdom.

We collaborate with the best local producers and farmers because we consider every entrepreneurial reality, of value, a heritage, to which we entrust the seed, controlling its cultivation and guaranteeing its withdrawal.

Thanks to these collaborations, the total area of ​​land dedicated to the production of our cereals and legumes have grown to over 1500 hectares concentrated in the beating heart of Italy.

Quality Control and Certifications

We obtain every year production of cereals and legumes of excellent quality, certified organic by CCPB (BIO Control and Certifications). Furthermore, all our pasta are BRC (British Retail Consortium), IFS (International Featured Standard) and ISO 22000 certified to guarantee internationally recognized production standards. LUZI is also KOSHER .

Distribution takes place through the most important Italian large-scale retail chains. LUZI is projected to the future, to the food that will belong to it, but with its feet on the ground, because we know what it means to work it every day with great passion to offer the best whole food and the tastiest and healthiest organic products. We turn our course towards technological innovation with a firm focus on environmental sustainability. For us there is no story without love for the environment, or rather, there is no story with a happy ending without love for the environment and respect for the world in which we live.

Dedication & Transformation

We tend to grow, we love progress, but above all, we want to make people live long and well. The production process and the transformation process, which exclude any refining practice and the use of preservatives, enhance the real function of food, as a vehicle of nutrients relevant for improving the state of health, well-being and for reducing the risk of disease. We deal with healthy and functional food, yet good taste must never be lacking for us too.

We are the protagonists of numerous international fairs, events, and exhibitions, we sponsor exhibitions, reviews, presentations because for us food passes from the soul, which must be nourished, first of all, by culture.

World of Sports & Luzi Food

We address the world of sport and its champions. The choice by the technical committee for the 2012 LONDON OLYMPICS allowed us, in fact, to make all the athletes and their respective accompanying our wholemeal pasta, demonstrating our ability to combine taste and Welfare. In November 2016, LUZI also supported the participation of the vegan athlete Massimo Brumaccioni at the Natural Bodybuilding World Championships in Los Angeles, taking the podium with the Silver Medal.

We are also well when we do good. We support BANCO ALIMENTARE (Foundation for recovery of food surpluses to support charitable structures), the IEO-CCM Foundation, in favor of the European Institute of Oncology and the Monzino Cardiology Center, and Emergency. “
